Benji's class draws upon Cunningham, release and floorwork techniques to play with moments activation and softness. We will find pace and flow to cut/shift through space in virtuosic movements, finding form and breaking it.

About
Benji grew up in Merseyside before moving to London to train at Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance. After graduating they joined BalletBoyz and have toured the UK and many international venues. They have performed a wide range of works by Maxine Doyle, Xie Xin, Christopher Wheeldon, Javier De Frutos, Holly Blakey, Vidya Patel, Thick and Tight, Shelley Maxwell, Russel Maliphant, Ivan Perez and Edd Arnold. Recently, Benji has danced with Ballet d’jerri performing works by Marco Goecke and Asier Edeso. As a freelance artist Benji has also had the pleasure of working with Rambert Company, James Cousins Company, Staatsoper Unter den Linden, Shaper Caper, DeNada Dance Theatre and the Royal Opera House. Benji has also enjoyed teaching for a variety of schools, institutions and companies.
