As ashes murmur an ominous force rises. Two sides of a broken self attempt to push through the battle of collective control. Power vs hope. Absence vs joy. Rejection vs resilience. Ultimately only one remains as the victor, whilst the fading embers burn out.

In collectivity we find ourselves. But what happens then to our instinctual sense of individualism? Is there a liberation in recognising our differences and finding an honest break to our uniformity? What do we have to unlearn and what can we unleash? And in doing so, are we still able to remain part of what makes us one?

TIED BONDS
What does it mean to fall into or break out of the cycles enforced by societal conformity? Two individuals joint together indefinitely, search for an answer. In a journey of support, care and tension, they apply pressure to find where the other begins and ends.
SERTEMPORAL
SerTemporal reflects on the concept of being. The way in which we identify, know and recognise each other, thinking about how the idea of ‘we’ can be an extension of ‘I’. Through a variety of music and the emotions and experiences that build us as individuals, SerTemporal looks into how the relationship between two minds can be expressed through movement.
